Doctor Ana Christina Kolbe is first president of the Mouth Odours Association of Brazil and the Mouth Odours Association of Bahia and a member of the International Mouth Odours Research Association and the International Association of Breath Odour Research.

She graduated in Odontology at the Federal University of Bahia in 1979. One year later she specialized in Dental Prosthesis and Dentistry at FOB-USP Bauru - University of São Paulo. Between 1992 and 1993 she returned to the same university for an updateing course in Prosthesis.

Between 1982 and 1997, she worked in the Facial-buccomaxillary Traumatism department of the State General Hospital in Bahia, performing facial operations at the Emergency Ward.
